Corporate Governance & Planning
The Corporate Governance & Planning Division is responsible for ensuring the Library's overall corporate and statutory obligations are met; managing strategic and business planning activities and the risk management framework; and undertaking projects with strategic implications.
The Division provides the following services:
- supporting the Executive and Library Board in strategic and corporate planning
- managing and developing annual business plans and associated performance reporting
- ensuring compliance with legislation, regulatory provisions and ministerial directives
- managing the provision of internal audit services
- liaising with Arts Victoria and other government departments and agencies for day-to-day planning, operational and reporting requirements
- managing insurance coverage
- managing the procurement of external legal services
- managing risk management
- providing corporate records framework and management, including compliance with Freedom of Information and privacy legislation
- managing and maintaining contracts and tender policy and procedures
- managing the Library's venue hire activities.
