Professor Merran Evans was appointed to the Board in June 2009 for a period of three years.
She brings to the Board experience in governance, planning, economics, business and education. She is currently Pro Vice-Chancellor (Planning and Quality), Monash University, where her previous administrative appointments have included Director of University Planning and Statistics and Director of the Monash University London Centre. She is a member of many university academic and management committees, and has a number of external and international memberships.
Professor Evans' research output includes a book and contributions to econometrics, economic and statistical journals. She is a recipient of the Centenary Medal for services to education. |
