New Appointments to Library Board of Victoria

The Governor in Council has appointed the Hon. John Cain and Mr Stephen Kerr to the Library Board of Victoria.
John Cain is well known to all Victorians, having served as Premier of Victoria between 1982 and 1990. He was MLA for Bundoora from 1976 until 1992. Since leaving the Victorian Parliament he has contributed to public debate on many issues, particularly education.
Stephen Kerr has been a long-time supporter of the Library and in 2002 he was appointed Chair of the State Library of Victoria Foundation. With a career in public relations spanning almost twenty years, he is the founder and Chief Executive of the Public Relations Exchange.
