NEW BAGGAGE POLICY A new baggage policy will be introduced on Monday 26 May. Visitors to the Library may now bring larger bags into reading rooms and galleries.

NED KELLY DEATH MASK IN 3-D PHOTO SHOOT One of the Library's most treasured possessions, Ned Kelly's death mask, has taken part in an exciting high-tech photo shoot to accurately capture the entire object in 3-D. This will allow the Library to present the death mask to the public in new, interesting ways.

PLAYWRIGHTS' AWARDS CLOSING SOON Applications for the RE Ross Trust Playwrights' Script Development Awards close on Friday 23 May at 5pm. The awards provide funding to support writers in workshopping and developing a play script.

BOOK NOW FOR 'OPENINGS' - A FREE PUBLIC LECTURE On Thursday 29 May, Professor Jeffrey Hamburger from the Sackler Museum, Harvard University, will give a free public address to open the 'Imagination, Books and Community in Medieval Europe' conference. The conference, which complements 'The Medieval Imagination' exhibition, runs from Thursday 29 May to Saturday 31 May. Professor Hamburger's address, 'Openings', explores the role of the manuscript in medieval times.
