EASTER AND ANZAC DAY HOURS AND SERVICES The Library will be closed on Friday 6 April, Good Friday. Limited hours and services apply until Tuesday 10 April. Mr Tulk cafe will be closed between Good Friday and 9 April. On Anzac Day, Wednesday 25 April, the Library will be open, with limited hours and services. Check the cafe's opening hours closer to the day.

NEW INFORMATION DATABASES AVAILABLE FROM HOME Did you know some of our research databases can be accessed from home via our website? To use them you must be a registered Library user, with a current Library card, and living in Victoria. Some of the recent additions include the American Film Institute Catalogue 1893-1971, Grove Art Online, Proquest Business, Alt HealthWatch (Ebsco), Historical Abstracts, History Reference Center (Ebsco), Environment Complete 1950s- (Ebsco), SPORTDiscus and Statistical University 1973-.

ARTIST BOOK EXHIBITION AUDIO TOUR Dianne Fogwell, curator of the Library's current exhibition 'How I entered there I cannot truly say', narrates a personal audio tour through the exhibition, providing expert insights into the works and the artists who created them.

EXPLORE Two new Library treasures have been digitised and made available on our website as zoomable interactive versions.
THE PRESS DRESS The Press Dress, created in 1866, is a rare silk fancy-dress costume printed with the front pages of Melbourne newspapers. It has recently undergone conservation work and will be on display at the National Gallery in Canberra from 30 March.

PRINCES BRIDGE This painting by Clarice Beckett was acquired by the Library in 2006 with assistance from the Library Foundation. It shows Melbourne's Princes Bridge, with the Flinders Street Station clocktower in the background.

LITERARY AWARDS CALL FOR ENTRIES The call for applications for this year's Premier's Literary Awards went out on 23 March. Entries will be accepted until 4 May. Entries for the annual RE Ross Trust Playwrights' Script Development Awards are being accepted between 13 April and 21 May.
