WATCH OUT FOR…

DIGITAL TREASURE-TROVE TO LAUNCH
Here at the Library we like nothing more than to tell you about the splendours of our magnificent collection. For good reason - it's world class! But we know plenty of you have your own treasures. And we think it's high time you got to show them off.

How? By submitting a digital photo and description of your prized items to our new 'Your Treasures' website. If you don't have a treasure to add you can simply explore other people's contributions – and even add comments. Either way, indulge your curiosity by visiting this brand-new digital treasure-trove of precious objects.

‘Your Treasures’ will be accessible from 1 June via the spotlight area on the Library website homepage:
http://www.slv.vic.gov.au

The website is the companion piece to our Treasures pages, our web showcase for key Library treasures.

Curated by historian and author Robyn Annear, it promises to show plenty of political leg. Exhibits include Fawkner’s 1835 draft constitution, political cartoons, protest banners, and Les Tanner’s 1972 caricature of Henry Bolte in the form of a coffee mug!

They can meet picture-book illustrator and writer Anthony Browne. Or enter our online Snap it! Blog it! competition – there are great prizes up for grabs.
