FROM THE INFORMATION DESK

BUSINESS INFORMATION AT THE LIBRARY
The State Library of Victoria has one of the most extensive collections of business and statistical information in Australia. Providing a wealth of information on how we work, live and play, this collection contains a broad range of reference materials and other resources from Australia and overseas. The Business and Statistics Collection is available for browsing or reading in the Library’s Information Centre.

TRAINING IN BUSINESS INFORMATION RESEARCH
The daily pressures of small businesses mean it is often difficult to give priority to training and business skills development. We all know that we could be more effective if we had well-developed business skills, but how do we find time to get out of the office?

Express Information, the Library's fee-based research service, offers training programs that address this dilemma. Our staff, who are business specialists, now conduct one-on-one phone tutorials. These sessions build each participant's online research skills and introduce rich, relevant business resources.

The one-hour tutorials require a hands-free telephone and reliable broadband. Costs start at $150. For program details contact Express Information by telephone 03 8664 7003 or email info@expressinfo.com.au

For more information about other services offered by Express Information see:
