Current recipient: Sue Wootton

The 2018 Dromkeen Librarian's Award was awarded to Sue Wootton, Children's Support Officer at Eastern Regional Libraries (ERL).

A dedicated children's and youth services worker, Sue joined ERL in 1999. In her role as the Youth Services Librarian at Ferntree Gully Library, she developed a variety of children's program. By 2016, Sue had become the Children's Support Officer for three council areas.

In 2017–18, Sue engaged close to 100,000 participants in State Library Victoria's children's and youth services program across ERL.
